The thread count was not stated on the packaging, but we think it should be pretty high as it's so soft and comfortable. Needless to say, we've spent quite a bit of time lazing on it, can't help it! Heehee...for those who're not sure, the threadcount actually refers to the softness of the material, so the higher the threadcount, the softer the material. Material with higher threadcount are normally more pricey than those with lower threadcount. We paid $143 ($179 with 20% disc) for this particular king-sized quilt cover.
The pillow cases are sold separately for this set though, and the black ones were out of stock already. For the plain black bolster and pillow cases, we got them from King Koil at John Little. As for the main pillowcases, we used this set which was given to us last yr as a christmas gift. Cute and kinky..heehee...Both of us loved the look after it was all put together =)
