It is important to be never too busy to find time to spend quality time with each other, especially after you're married. Me and Gayle have been very busy with our ROM preparations and then our home renovations and sometimes, you just get caught up with daily things in life. I decided this week to go with Gayle to the Singapore Zoological Garden since both of us had not been there for quite a few years. We had a good time enjoying the sights and the new animal exhibits. We plan to make a return trip in the later part of next year when their new kids adventure centre with more F and B outlets and a river adventure cruise starts operating.
Mr Hippo having a cool swim !
Us at the elephant information hut. Amazing that elephants have a 25 month pregnancy period!
Us clowning around at the Australian outback enclosure. Again, we are amazed at some kangeroo facts - top hopping speed of 64km/h and they can cover a distance of 13m in one leap, if only i could do that at my standing broad jump!
Mr Rhino just going about his own business....Did you know that the Rhinocerous horn is just a a bundle of hair fibres? Talk about gelled hair!
Me posing at the bonsai giraffe! and the real giraffe is below : - )
A nice shot of Mr Penguin showing off his swimming skills !
The Orang Utan performing for us ! It was really amazing seeing it swing around with just an arm and leg. I wish i had that kind of muscular strength and agility.
The White tigers having a lazy siesta on a hot afternoon.
