Days 11 and 12 - Tokyo

For Days 11 and 12, we will probably spend the day discovering whether there are any new places to visit while we are in Tokyo and also look into the places which we may want to revisit. This would be good so that we can spend earlier days checking out the prices and variety of some items which we may want to buy and then do the purchases on the last 2 days. We may skip the usual touristy areas like Tokyo city and Ginza within the Tokyo metropolitan areas and seek out new areas to discover. After all, that's the fun of doing a trip on your own, you can choose where and what you want to go and do in line with your own personal preferences. For us, our preference is to shop and discover new unique insights in the places we visit and of course, food! For Day 12, we requested a later flight at 5pm which will give us at least half a day more to shop around. The travelling time from Shinjuku to Tokyo Narita Airport(international flights) is between 1.5hrs to 2hrs depending on traffic conditions so you may want to factor that in when planning your program.
